Last month we just delivered a complete preform and cap production line with 3 moulds to our customer including two sets of 72 cavity preform mould and 72 cavity cap mould. Beside the machines, we supplied one DKM650T PET injection molding machine for preform mould and one DKM520T servo motor machine for plastic cap mould production.

For multi-cavity cap mould, we will suggest to use high hardness stainless steel for core and cavity. For the mould base, steel like 1.2311 is a must to make sure the strength of mould. Mould steel lower than P20 is not workable on cap mould more than 48cavity… The most important issue for multi cavity cap mould is the tooling precision and hot runner system. Sino use high precision lather machine and engrain machine to make sure the strict dimension, each cavity should be interchangeable for easy maintenance purpose. A good hot runner system is vital to a cap mould because balance injection and material flowing is very important.
